Each snowshoe price is per adult and is read from GetYourGuide or Viator when the page opens, so a listing with a hotel surcharge or a second option can cost more on the booking page.
What moves the price
The ladder mixes very different outings, so compare what sits next to each price. The two-hour tour by East Lapland Group lists no pickup and lends poles and a head torch but no clothing. ToTheNorth includes a cooked lunch but asks you to bring your own warm layers. Into North runs four and a half hours with a small group and photos, Apukka Resort lends the longest list of clothing. A difference in price often comes down to one of these lines.
Extra costs to watch for
Wild about Lapland adds a surcharge on its night walk if you stay 10 km or more from the centre, and does not pick up in the centre at all. Nordic Escapes picks up within 10 km and charges for longer distances on request. NordicUnique Travels offers guiding in German, French, Italian, Spanish or Chinese on request. Solo travellers on Beyond Arctic must ask for a single booking. Prices can also change by date.
Several reviewers of the larger day tours write that the time on snowshoes was short compared with the price, or that the forest felt like one they could have walked without a guide. Other reviewers rate the guide, the fire and the pickup as worth it. If the walk itself is what you pay for, look for a listing that states the walking time or distance.
Cancellation and minimum numbers

“Everything about trip was amazing. The guide set a nice pace for our small 4-person group, such that we both had time to enjoy the nature while also learning to walk with snowshoes.
